Background

At the age of 16 I started training nunchaku-do and later jiu-jutsu. At the age of 18 I started training bujinkan budo taijtusu while still training nunchaku-do. In 1994 I received an B-licence to teach nunchaku-do and in 1995 a full teaching licence. For the nunchaku organisation I updated the training and teaching manuals and gave the course for kata and freestyle juror. At the age of 22 I passed the exam for nidan nunchaku-do and am still the highest ranking teacher in the region.
After 5 years of training bujinkan budo taijutsu passed the shodan test. While training weekly with Sveneric Bogsater I got a real good insight in the teachings and philosphy of bujinkan budo taijutsu.

In 2002 I graduated from the Small Business and retail managment (Saxion). I specialised in efficiency. Next to Small Business I also did two additional years of Business Economics at Saxion.

After finishing my education I worked for several big companies like the IRS, @home, Essent and Nuon.
